IPT - Innovative Paper Technologies
DICAMIT is representing in exclusivity for South Europe the American IPT, the worlds second largest producer of electrical insulation papers in UL Class N (200°) and Class R (220°C).
IPT’s mineral-based insulation papers are generally characterized by excellent dielectrical and mechanical characteristics combined with a high thermal conductivity.
Being 15-20% cheaper than DUPONT’s NOMEX, IPT products offer an attractive opportunity to keep a competitive edge while maintaining the level of product quality you have with NOMEX.

Overview on products and import issues

» CEQUIN CEQUIN 3000, I and II is designed for UL systems in class 220°C. This paper has the highest inorganic content resulting in highest resin absorption.

» CORQUIN CORQUIN is designed for outstanding resin-absorption. Major applications are end fills and spacers in dry-type transformers.

» THERMALSHIELD THERMALSHIELD is a non-woven PPS paper designed for high-temperature applications where resistence to chemical agents such as transformer oil is required.

» THERMAVOLT THERMAVOLT has been designed for major ground insulation in UL Class 220 C. Regarding CEQUIN it has and improved mechanical resistance an passes horizontal burn test.

» TUFQUIN TUFQUIN has an increased organic content making it the standard product for transformer insulation up to 200°C. It is also the material of choise for laminates.

» TUFR FIRE RESISTANT TUFR is the fire resistent version of TUFQUIN for applications with VO at 200°C

» IPT Laminates IPT laminates are the material of choise were customized performance is required, e.g. in electrical motors.

» UL Certification Find the tools of UL to meet the demand for greater diligence in verifying that individual insulation materials can perform together in shared environments.

» Test Methods Applied by IPT A brief description of the test methods that IPT applies to ensure the quality of its products.
